This week's videos - the 50 bonus pts winner

Hi inter8ers! Our girls and boys have made some super-cool tutorial videos about all inter8ing's major issues, so here's a short review about them.

Sam's video

Sam made a cute short video which explains how to apply your video on inter8ing. It helps you memorize the steps you need to follow when you send us your video :)
We're working on improving the video-uploading process to make it quicker and more simple, so I hope this tutorial will not be relevant soon. Although it's a cool tutorial!

Immortal Nightmare's video

Immortal is a cool girl and her videos are always nice, but someone has to get her a decent camera. :P
In the tutorial, she explains what you should not do, in a fun way. According to last week's events, some of you can learn from this video!

Bexx' video

Bexx' video is very cute, funny and creative! She sings a little song she wrote about voting for her and hosts her friend in the video! It looks funny and unexpected. And then she explains the signing in process clearly. You have to watch this video till the end, because Bexx does the cutest "Jesus loves you" gig. Adorable!

Hannah's video

Hannah created a useful explanation about the identification process. The video could have been more fun and energetic, but anyhow we appreciate Hannah very much for the big efforts she put in this clip during the last few days.

I must say I'm glad to see that all of these girls are on our top 8 right now. Great job! All of you got 100 pts for new video, plus 30 pts for completing the special video task. However… there can be only one best video!

Ash made a nice video which explains how you should treat the other participants on inter8ing. Too bad it came out so noisy! Besides the noises from the street, it has also a background music playing from the computer. On the one hand it's nice, but on the other hand it sounds messy. Rather insert music into your video by editing than by playing it in the background! :)

Daniel Dynamite's video

Daniel's video is cool and nasty :).
He explains how you can get votes, and among the regular methods he gives some original methods of his own. Very nice :D
The only problem with the video is that we can't see what's written on the pages he holds ): so when you hold a page up, make sure that the writing on it is bold enough, and that you hold it up enough time

Sammy's Video

This is a really great one! Sammy has an adorable accent and she knows how to make her video look better just by using simple means. She combines a regular video with still photos and a slideshow, which is more interesting to watch than just one-shot monologue. The best part of the movie, is the end, when she imitates me :D it's funny! And the great "Bananaphone" tune is so appropriate!

small tip for a better video #1: go outside
Being outdoors can make your video way cooler! Love your room and computer? Then you can combine being indoors and outdoors in the same short clip. It makes it more vivid and varied. Here's a short clip I shot and edited, of a friend of mine.

We just wandered around her neighborhood and found some cool locations + I've added a bunch of still photos of her I shot earlier to create a cool stop motion scene.
I did all the clip with my small, cheap camera. Really, it was the cheapest device I could find, it costs less than 50 £. What I'm trying to say, is that you don't need professional equipment to be creative.
