How To make a good Yme video?

Yme video is a 30 second video you have to do in order to participate and win inter8ing. Here are some simple tricks that will help you creating a better video.

First thing, you have to follow the Yme Video Rules!
1. We will only accept video clips and not slideshows (Presentations).
2. The video must show your face and play your voice.
3. The video must be clear, with correct lighting and sound sync.
4. All videos must be in English.
5. It has to contain the word inter8ing in the video and in its title.
6. It has to be up to 30 seconds long. We might accept longer videos if they have good reason to be longer.

And now – for some tips.
Take care of the lighting!
Make sure the lighting is good. You don't have to be a professional photographer to have a table lamp!
- don’t stand in front of a light source! standing in front of a window makes you look like a big bulk of shadow. Make sure the light is falling on your face, and not behind your back.
The best lightning you can get, is during the daytime, in a room with white walls that reflect the light from outside.
If it's not daytime, use your table lamp. Stand in front of a wall, aim the lamp to the wall, direct the camera to your face, and your video will look much better.

Take care of the Sound!
Make sure you're filming in a quiet place. Turn off any music, TV, radio, anything. Shut the doors and windows. Make sure we can hear you! after filming, you can add the music you want with simple editing.

stay close
People prefer to see close ups. They feel more connected to you when they see your eyes and your face expressions. It's psychological!

Good luck! And we're waiting for more amazing videos!
