News: the champions league will last another day
- We have solved the technical problems, which were unrelated to the votes at all. We apologize for the inconvenience, and will do our best to prevent such events.
- We have checked the votes thoroughly, and removed many invalid votes.
- The final day of the contest will start tonight, on 00:00 UK time, with the 3 contesters that should have been there on Saturday.
- Jack will be suspended for the next 2 weeks, until we can thoroughly check his votes and publish our final decision. We know that there is always a chance that the votes were not initiate by Jack himself - and frankly, couldn't think why someone as talented as him would prepare fictive votes over the minimal effort of asking real people to vote.
- We will announce new ways of validating voters soon. This shouldn't happen - help us, dear users, to prevent it! We're doing our best, but will appreciate some fresh ideas from you.

2.the champion you want to give the golden vote to

The inter8ing Champions League (November 23rd – 29th)
Next week, instead of the regular inter8ing contest we will hold a special champions league. This will be a special one week contest for our finest, best and most successful winners.
There will be one prize only - $1,000!
Who will contest?
We will be announcing 15 top inter8ing contesters - as chosen by us. They will compete for a week, to become the inter8ing champion of champions!
How will it work?
These 15 profiles will have to convince their friends to vote for them. Every day during the week, the two profiles with the lowest number of votes will be eliminated and sent home!

On Saturday (November 29th) we will have the contest Grand Finale, there can only be one winner!! The winner of the inter8ing champions league will receive a huge, never seen before prize of $1,000. To win the prize you will have to work hard to beat and overcome the other 14 champions during the week.

I'm very happy that you seem to like the service so much (as was, really, when we beta tested it in our small hot country). But: the more users we will have, the more prizes we'll be able to spread among you. Help us to expend! we want more U.K. users, we want U.S users. We want Bebo, but also Myspace and Facebook and all the rest. You know lots of people. Tell them about us. Promote the service. Add users. We'll be bigger - you'll be the first to enjoy it.

The other thing I wanted to mention is: We had some problems last week with votes that our security system (and A', responsible for deleting) did not like. We blocked those, and people were angry. We HAVE TO keep this contest clean, otherwise it will be meaningless. In the hot li'l country mentioned above, we've forced all user to ID by cell phone, and it worked great - but we won't go so far with this contest yet.
What we ARE doing, though:
1. First vote after identification will be worth 15 points - one time only!
This week we will grant 15 points for first vote of any identified voter, even if identification was done already. As of next week, only new identified users will get this bonus.
2. First vote of an identified voter per contest (e.g. this week), will be worth 8 points.
3. First vote of an identified voter for a certain profile per contest, will be worth 3 points
4. ALL VOTES of unidentified users will be worth 1 point. Only 10 such votes will be allowed per user for each contest.
You don't have to worry re this phone-based identification, really. inter8ing is a startup company, backed up by first-grade law and accounting firms such as Ernst & Young and WSGR. We have no use for the phone numbers, and will never use it for anything but the sole purpose of ID'ing you.

But: the more users we will have, the more prizes we'll be able to spread among you. Help us to expend! we want more U.K. users, we want U.S users. We want Bebo, but also Myspace and Facebook and all the rest. You know lots of people. Tell them about us. Promote the service. Add users. We'll be bigger - you'll be the first to enjoy it.

The other thing I wanted to mention is: We had some problems last week with votes that our security system (and A', responsible for deleting) did not like. We blocked those, and people were angry. We HAVE TO keep this contest clean, otherwise it will be meaningless. In the hot li'l country mentioned above, we've forced all user to ID by cell phone, and it worked great - but we won't go so far with this contest yet.
What we ARE doing, though:
1. First vote after identification will be worth 15 points - one time only!
This week we will grant 15 points for first vote of any identified voter, even if identification was done already. As of next week, only new identified users will get this bonus.
2. First vote of an identified voter per contest (e.g. this week), will be worth 8 points.
3. First vote of an identified voter for a certain profile per contest, will be worth 3 points
4. ALL VOTES of unidentified users will be worth 1 point. Only 10 such votes will be allowed per user for each contest.
You don't have to worry re this phone-based identification, really. inter8ing is a startup company, backed up by first-grade law and accounting firms such as Ernst & Young and WSGR. We have no use for the phone numbers, and will never use it for anything but the sole purpose of ID'ing you.
